National Guard patrols begin carrying firearms in Washington DC

National Guard troops deployed to Washington DC as part of President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown began carrying firearms on Sunday, according to a spokesman for the National Guard task force. Several members of the South Carolina National Guard were seen on Sunday with firearms holstered to their hips.
