Katelynn Ordone is reflecting on the car crash that tragically claimed the life of her son.
More than two months ago, the TikTok star and her husband Jaelan Ordone were involved in a fatal car crash which their 2-year-old son Preston, known virally as the ‘Okay Baby,’ did not survive.

In a video shared last week, the mom of two, who also shares daughter Paisley, 9, with Jaelan, explained that she doesn’t have “any memory” of what happened during the crash and the immediate days after:
“I don’t have any memory of the accident, I don’t have any memory of two to three days after the accident, I don’t have much memory of being in the hospital until towards the end. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost a lot of my memory.”
So horrible. She continued:
“The day of our accident, I somehow managed to find my phone. Don’t know how — the accident was awful … I called 911 first. I was on the phone with them for five minutes. The only reason I know that is because I saw it in my call logs. And then my parents have told me that I called them.”
Katelynn explained she doesn’t recall sending her parents her location, but told them to “get there” quickly:
“I was on the phone with my mom for about five minutes. She said she could just hear the pain in my voice. I was groaning in pain and she said she just couldn’t handle it anymore.”
Her mother passed the phone to her father, who spoke to Katelynn for about 19 minutes:
“He could hear people asking me if I had kids, and I was saying, ‘I don’t know.’ I was just out of it. There [were] moments that I could talk, there [were] moments that I was just groaning and moaning in pain and then there [were] moments of silence where I wasn’t talking at all.”
So scary. But through all the trauma, Kateleynn revealed her relationship to God has been strengthened. She apparently began speaking the Lord’s prayer “perfectly” after the accident even though she had not previously known the words. So learning of the unexplainable moment made her feel as if God’s “presence” has been guiding her amid Preston’s death:
“Without God, I wouldn’t know that Preston’s at perfect peace right now. I get to be there with him one day again. So I just wanted to share that. I still have a long journey, a long ways to go. I feel like I truly, truly could not get through this without Him.”
