Pakistan says India planning strike as tensions soar over Kashmir

Pakistan claimed on Wednesday it had “credible intelligence” of an imminent Indian military strike and warned of retaliation, as fears of escalating conflict grew following a deadly attack in Kashmir. Relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours have deteriorated since India blamed Pakistan for last week’s deadly assault on tourists in Pahalgam, the worst attack on civilians in the region in 25 years.
