The Palestinian foreign ministry blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday for attacking French President Emmanuel Macron over his plan to recognise a Palestinian state within months. It called Netanyahu’s comments “a blatant rejection of international legitimacy” that revealed a preference for violence over diplomatic solutions.
