Poland goes to the polls for the first round of its presidential election

Poland holds the first round of its presidential election this Sunday. Victory for the liberal candidate Rafal Trzaskowski would put the country back on the path to democracy after years of authoritarian drift. The election of nationalist candidate Karol Nawrocki, would, on the other hand, complicate Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s efforts to enact his agenda. Story by Catherine Viette.
