Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have each other’s backs… but do they have the same perspective on how to deal with their never-ending royal family feud?
Not even a little bit, according to a new source who just spoke to People on Thursday.
According to that insider, the Suits alum may indeed still fully support her embattled husband as Harry navigates the aftermath of his difficult estrangement from his father King Charles III and his brother Prince William, but that doesn’t mean Meg sees things the same way as her spouse.

First off, the insider explained to the mag that both Meg and Harry are aware of what’s going on at Buckingham Palace with Charles’ health, William’s ascension, and everything else. But as for details?? Nope! They are totally in the dark:
“They’re aware of everything going on in England, but they’re being left out of the details — there’s clearly no trust.”
Here’s the thing, though: according to that insider, because of being left in the dark, Meghan has chosen to be “very business about it” and remain completely focused on the future of both her (struggling) business entities and her family’s life.
And yet meanwhile, the source claims Harry still has one foot in the past and keeps looking to the way things used to be. Uh-oh…
Now, to be fair, part of Harry looking back has to do with his father’s ongoing cancer treatments. Since the Spare author and his monarch poppa are so estranged at this point, Harry has struggled with not getting the cancer-related info he so desperately wants, the insider explained:
“It’s been difficult for him to even get proper updates about his dad.”
Ugh.
And yet Meghan keeps standing by Harry’s side! Even if they are seeing this situation differently at this stage.
Another insider told the outlet that Meg wishes her husband could someday feel less burdened by his past, and more present in the life the duo has built together in southern California. But he’s not. Not right now, at least. Which, oof. That is quite a big difference in POV… Just saying…

BTW, as we’ve previously noted plenty of times, the rift has deep, deep roots.
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith tried to shed some light on the estrangement by saying that “the underlying issue is trust.” That is, Charles and William don’t trust Prince Harry AT ALL. She noted candidly:
“The King and William don’t trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation.”
They aren’t the only pair who don’t trust Harry, either.
According to Power and the Palace author Valentine Low, everyone in the King’s purview — from his wife Queen Camilla to his senior aide Clive Alderton — apparently isn’t too keen to see Charles reconnect with his younger son. Low explained:
“There is not a good angel in his ear to say, ‘be a good dad and make the first move.’ It makes Charles reaching out even harder.”
Yikes.
