Prince Harry still has a long way to go if he wants back in the royal family…
The Duke of Sussex reunited with his father, King Charles III, last week — their first time getting together in over a year! And it seems to have gone really well. Meghan Markle‘s husband wants to visit the UK a lot more and bring his children back, telling The Guardian that his dad will be his “focus” this next year.
Unfortunately, this is only making things worse with his brother, Prince William!

Sources told Radar Online on Monday that the future king has only “doubled down” on his desire to cut Harry out of the royal family now that his reconciliation efforts are working! Uh oh! An insider detailed:
“William is back at the point where if you mention Prince Harry in his presence he would throw you out of the room. He’s doubling down.”
That’s not good…
But get this! William has NEW motivation to be pissed at his younger brother — and this time, it has nothing to do with what he’s said in public! Instead, sources claim Willy is fed up that Harry is stealing away their father’s attention.
Last week, royal expert Tina Brown claimed Charles is “less irritated” by the Spare author these days than he is by the heir, whose workload has been light on engagements compared to Charles, even amid his cancer battle. It’s worth noting that Princess Catherine has also been battling cancer, and William has been helping take care of their three young children. So, he’s been busy, too. But we guess Charles is upset about it! And it’s causing fresh new tension among the family members!
With William slipping down the pecking order, the Prince of Wales is more determined to shut Harry out! Another source told Radar Online:
“William is more determined than ever to cut Harry off altogether. It infuriates William that Harry has pulled off a 12-month ‘master plan’ to reingratiate himself.”
Meanwhile, the source said the Archewell founder is hoping his dad will get the UK back on his side sooner rather than later:
“Harry would one day like his father to encourage the nation to accept him back again. It’s what the late Queen [Elizabeth II] did towards the end of her life when she asked the public to accept Camilla as Queen Consort. If Charles could do something along those lines, Harry would have some hope of not being completely exiled for good when William becomes King. While it’s hard to guess from the spiteful interviews he’s given in recent years, Harry does want back in.”
They added:
“Harry reads his own polls, he knows he’s one of the least popular Royals and wants that to change. He wants to get back to being one of the most popular. Meghan doesn’t care about the U.K. perception and that’s fine — but Harry does.”
Only time will tell if that strategy pans out…
For now, the real worry is on William — his reignited rivalry with his bro has got palace aides concerned AF! Another source dished:
“For some time now William’s anger had cooled to the point of indifference over his brother, which was healthy for his mental wellbeing. William had got to the stage where Harry was a ‘non-person’, he had fallen so far beneath his radar as to have disappeared from his mind altogether. It can’t be good that William has gone back to the point where he would throw someone out at the very mention of Harry’s name.”
Jeez!!
Is he back to his tantrum days?! This is just going to get even more difficult for his wife to manage! It’s sounding less and less likely that she’ll be able to facilitate a reconciliation between the siblings. Harry’s future lies in Charles’ hands for now…
