Ray J just hurled a blazing grenade straight into Calabasas!
In a shocking new lawsuit, the singer claims Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have been lying to the world for nearly twenty years about the origins of the infamous sex tape that made Kim a household name long before contouring and SKIMS. And the receipts he’s bringing are messy and dramatic AF!
Ray J’s filing came in response to the KarJenner fam suing him for defamation to kick the latest chapter off in this long-standing saga. Per a TMZ report on Thursday, he claims in the filing that the sex tape ordeal allegedly did NOT begin as the tear-stained tragedy Kim has long portrayed.
Instead, he insists the tape was fully consensual, filmed in 2003, and then strategically discussed for release in 2006. He says Kim was not only open to the idea, but that she wanted Kris to oversee the rollout, allegedly pushing her mother to spearhead the business side like the ultimate momager she famously is.

In the lawsuit filed by attorney Howard King, Ray J accused Kim and Kris of having:
“…spent two decades peddling the false story that the sex tape … was leaked against her will.”
Ray J says all was fine until he stopped playing along with the myth, too! To that end, his suit claimed that Kim and Kris are:
“furious … [that he] no longer wants to play along with their tall tale.”
He claims things escalated when the family used Hulu’s The Kardashians to paint him as a villain, accusing him of everything from assault to revenge porn to extortion. According to him, these accusations were so outrageous that he initiated legal action, which then allegedly led Kim and Kris to settle and hand over $6 million.
Part of that deal, Ray J says now, was a promise the family wouldn’t bring up the tape anymore on their show. But the cameras kept rolling and the topic kept resurfacing, and now he says that violates the agreement and entitles him to another $1 million.
As we noted up top, Kim and Kris recently sued him for defamation. However, Ray J argues their real goal is not justice but control, attention, and intimidation. He says they are using their lawsuit to “weaponize the judicial system, shirk their contractual obligations, and sacrifice on the altar of fame.”
Jeez!
He also clarified his infamous RICO comment which exploded online earlier this year, saying he saw similarities between their alleged dealings with adult film company Vivid, their handling of the contract, and the type of conspiracies that fall under RICO laws. That’s what led to his eyebrow-raising and already-infamous declaration in a Tubi doc when he said:
“If you told me the Kardashians was being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”
And also there was that hot mic livestream moment when he blurted this out without (er, so he claims) realizing the microphone was on and broadcasting out into the world:
“The feds is coming to investigate because I can’t be the dirty guy no more.”
And after ALL THAT, the Kardashians aren’t sitting quietly while Ray J lights these fires!
Their attorney Alex Spiro clapped back — already!!! In doing so, he dismissed Ray’s claims as pure desperation. As he told TMZ on Thursday night:
“After realizing he is losing the case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone. Ray J will lose this frivolous case too.”

With both sides doubling down and the accusations flying faster than an early-season KUWTK slap, this war is far from over. The drama may be twenty years old, but this tea is piping hot all over again.
