Rebel Wilson can officially cross getting plastic surgery off her bucket list… Even if it wasn’t something she actually intended to do…
If you haven’t heard, the Aussie actress is re-teaming with her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp for an upcoming action-comedy called Bride Hard! In the film, Rebel plays a secret agent who takes on the mission of maid of honor for her bestie’s wedding — but then armed men take the wedding party hostage! You know, Die Hard at a wedding. Sounds fun, right? Watch the trailer (below):
But filming action is way more demanding than comedy. Rebel told Entertainment Weekly on Monday she spent five weeks stunt training for the film in wedding attire:
“I think there’s something really unique about it. It’s challenging to shoot scenes wearing, for me, I had a corset on, plus Spanx, plus quite a tight dress, which is quite challenging to move around.”

And that challenging movement somehow turned into a MAJOR mishap on set where Rebel got horribly injured! During an interview with Access Hollywood over the weekend, she recalled:
“The last night of shooting, the last fight sequence, my nose gets busted open, it’s a pool of blood, if anyone has had a facial injury, they know, there’s so much blood. It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was really my last night of shooting. I was like, ‘How unlucky can I be?’”
That sounds bad! And BAD it was! So much so she had to get fixed up by a plastic surgeon! She revealed:
“I was freaking out. They take an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn’t, I would have been permanently disfigured. So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can’t tell now — really, you can’t tell.”
Yeesh! Poor Rebel. But on the bright side, if there was anything she didn’t like about her nose before, this would have been a great opportunity to get it tweaked! Right? Ha! Can YOU spot a difference in her latest pics??
