“Chemtrails” are an an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that’s existed for decades, despite universal calls that there’s no scientific basis. But with several US states looking to ban geoengineering, this conspiracy theory has escalated its way into actual US legislation, that could result in real-life laws.
