The former Verve frontman will be heading out to play a run of solo headline dates early next year, following a concert at Manchester’s Co-op Live in November.
It comes in celebration of him sharing the long-awaited LP, ‘Lovin’ You’. That record will mark his seventh album and is released on Friday (October 3). You can pre-order/pre-save it here.
Earlier this summer, Ashcroft added a handful of new shows to the tour due to high demand – including stops in Glasgow, Birmingham, and Newcastle – and yesterday (September 29), he announced details of a stop at London’s Alexandra Palace Park.
Now, he has also shared a huge gig at Englefield Estate, which will see him joined by Shed Seven, Tom Meighan, and The Kairos.

For Shed Seven, the support slot comes following the band recently reissuing their 1994 debut album ‘Change Giver’ and remaining a huge name throughout the Britpop heyday. They locked in six Top 10 albums and shared huge hits like ‘Going For Gold’ and ‘Chasing Rainbows’, before sharing two albums last year.
Both ‘Liquid Gold’ and ‘A Matter Of Time’ went on to reach the top spot on the UK album charts in 2024, and made the band one of only 20 artists to achieve the milestone of two Number One albums in the same year.

For Meighan, the singer was formerly frontman of Kasabian and released his debut solo album, The Reckoning’, in 2023. He parted ways with the Leicester group in July 2020, shortly before being charged with assaulting his partner Vikki Ager – who he married the following year. He was sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid work.
Following the conviction of domestic abuse against his now-wife, Meighan went on to open up about his mental health, experience in rehab and “consequence culture”.
“I did something I will never forgive myself for: I physically assaulted my now wife Vikki in [a] row fuelled by alcohol. It was totally unacceptable,” he wrote, claiming the attack took place after he “hit rock bottom”. “In fact, it makes me feel sick every time I think about it.”
For The Kairos, the slot comes after the Liverpool band shared their debut EP ‘Better Late Than Never’ in 2023, and have gone on to lock in support slots alongside James, Red Rum Club, and The Reytons.
News of the new show at the Englefield Estate arrives as Ashcroft has just wrapped up his time opening for Oasis on the UK and Ireland leg of their massive Live ’25 reunion tour, along with Cast.
That stint, which started earlier this summer and concluded over the past weekend, saw the former Verve frontman go viral after responding to an Oasis fan who Shazamed ‘Bittersweet Symphony’. He later addressed the moment at the first Manchester gig, joking: “Get your Shazams out!”
He also shared the title track from his upcoming album earlier this year, and shared some praise for Liam Gallagher concerning the discipline he has had while on the road.
