Romania reacts to Moldova’s pro-eu party results at election

Moldova’s ruling PAS party secured a clear lead over its pro-Russian rivals in a high-stakes parliamentary election, with final results on Monday placing the EU candidate country bordering Ukraine firmly on the path towards European integration. The tense vote was marred by a series of incidents and overshadowed by allegations of Russian interference, while neighbouring Romania closely followed the outcome and reacted to the results.
