A (possibly) key figure in the Beckham family feud is finally speaking up for herself! And Kim Turnbull has a lot to say about her involvement!
Early on in the reporting, sources were claiming the reason Brooklyn Beckham was on the outs with his famous fam was his brother’s girlfriend. Insiders claimed he didn’t like that his little brother Romeo was dating Kim — because he had his own history with her! And that’s why he and Nicola Peltz stayed away from family gatherings — such as all David Beckham‘s 50th birthday celebrations.

But of course, we’ve since heard that Nicola has also been a big issue for years — and Brooklyn is reportedly the one putting up strict boundaries with his family! And maybe it had little or nothing to do with Kim at all — and she was just a scapegoat!
Well, guilty or not she seems to have been the only one busted. She and Romeo recently split up after seven months of dating! The breakup, first reported earlier this month, was apparently impacted by all the ongoing drama. There was talk Romeo might have cut ties to open up the opportunity of a reconciliation with his older brother. But is that true?! Any of it??
On Monday, Kim finally broke her silence on the breakup AND rumors she was once entangled with the hot sauce entrepreneur — and she’s got a very different side to the story. In her Instagram Story, the DJ wrote:
“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to the point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”
What’s the truth?! Without naming names, she made clear she and Brooklyn were NEVER an item — that was all B.S.:
“I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.”
Oh, wow. Never even a date? Nothing? Then why’d she get thrown under the bus for the rift?? Why would sources insist Brooklyn and Nicola wanted nothing to do with her? Hmm… Maybe she was a scapegoat after all…
The model then begged fans to leave her out of the ongoing controversy, concluding:
“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”

FWIW, Cruz Beckham was previously spotted replying to a fan online saying “Brooklyn and Kim never dated,” while a source also told People there was nothing between them. Meanwhile, another insider told the outlet there were “several [family] events” in recent months Kim didn’t attend that Brooklyn and Nicola also chose to skip. So it really does seem like she was never the problem.
