Rosie O’Donnell is firing back at Donald Trump‘s threat against her!
It is no secret that the president has not been a big fan of the actress for many years, and the feeling is very mutual. Rosie even moved to Ireland in January, just days before Trump was sworn into office, and it was all to keep herself and her 12-year-old child, Clay, who is non-binary, safe. Even though the former talk show host left America, she continues to call out the current administration.

Now, just because Trump doesn’t like the fact that Rosie criticizes him, he threatened to strip her of her citizenship. Yes, really. He wrote on Truth Social on Saturday:
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
What? Rosie is a “threat to humanity?” Oh, that is really rich coming from him. Despite what Trump says, she is not a “threat.” He just hates her. And let us make this very clear: Trump does not have the power to revoke citizenship of “persons born or naturalized in the United States,” per the Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment. Rosie was born here. She is an American citizen. So, what he is considering is unconstitutional. It’s not OK.
But what does Rosie have to say about Trump’s threat? The comedian clapped back at him on Instagram, saying:
“the president of the usa has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is – a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself – this is why i moved to ireland – he is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy compassion and basic humanity- i stand in direct opposition all he represents- so do millions of others – u gonna deport all who stand against ur evil tendencies – ur a bad joke who cant form a coherent sentence #nevertrump”
Rosie had more to say, though! She took another jab at him, this one involving Jeffrey Epstein. Remember, his handpicked DOJ and FBI leaders informed the public they had zero evidence of convicted sex trafficker’s crime, not even “client list” they said they had. Well, Rosie doesn’t forget! She also made it clear she will not be silenced by his threat and will continue to call him out! The View alum posted a pic of Trump and Epstein (see HERE) along with a poem that read:
“hey donald – you’re rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours. you call me a threat to humanity – but I’m everything you fear: a loud woman a queer woman a mother who tells the truth an american who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze. you build walls – I build a life for my autistic kid in a country where decency still exists. you crave loyalty – I teach my children to question power. you sell fear on golf courses – I make art about surviving trauma. you lie, you steal, you degrade – I nurture, I create, I persist. you are everything that is wrong with america – and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it. you want to revoke my citizenship? go ahead and try, king joffrey with a tangerine spray tan. i’m not yours to silence i never was.”
