A “massive” Russian assault on Kyiv early Thursday resulted in the deaths of at least 12 people and left dozens more injured, according to Ukrainian officials. Powerful explosions rocked the Ukrainian capital during the night, illuminating the sky and sending a column of smoke into the air as emergency services raced to the affected areas.
