In the face of accusations of illegal exploitation in the DRC, Rwanda is organising a visit to its mines. At the invitation of the Rwanda Mines Board, France24 correspondent Juliette Montilly head to a cassiterite mine on the outskirts of the Rwandese capital, Kigali. Rwanda’s goal is to publicise its mineral production, as the country faces recurring accusations of illegally exploiting the natural resources of its neighbour, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
