New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
We’re seeing big-name earbuds finally dip into more reasonable territory this Prime Day, including the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, now priced at $166.24, down from $249.99 (their lowest price yet according to price-trackers). It’s still not what most people would call cheap, but with this drop, they’re a lot easier to consider, especially if you’re already team Galaxy. Like other Prime Day deals, this one’s exclusive to Amazon Prime members, though the 30-day free trial gets you in if you’re just here for the savings.
Design-wise, the Buds 3 Pro look a little different from Samsung’s previous models. They’ve got angular stems, customizable LED lights, and an overall design that feels more AirPods-adjacent than before. Inside, there’s a 10.5mm dynamic driver paired with a 6.1mm planar driver, which helps the buds deliver surprisingly rich, wide-ranged sound. That said, reviewers have noted that turning on active noise cancellation can slightly soften the top end, so it’s worth exploring the EQ if you care about detail. For Samsung phone users, you also get Seamless Codec support for 24-bit audio, but anyone outside the Samsung ecosystem won’t benefit from that feature. There’s no support for LDAC either, which may be a letdown for some Android audiophiles.
These high-end earbuds pack plenty of smart features if you’re on a compatible device. Galaxy users get auto-pairing, full EQ control, and access to handy extras like Interpreter Mode for real-time translation. Android users who aren’t on Samsung still get access to most core features through the Wear app, though with a few limitations. iPhone users, unfortunately, don’t get app support at all, which means no customization and no advanced controls—just basic Bluetooth audio. On the upside, the Buds 3 Pro are IP57 rated, so they can handle sweat, workouts, and even the occasional downpour without any trouble.
