Savannah Chrisley Cries In Video After Trump Pardons Her Parents — And More Siblings React!

For perhaps the first time since her parents Julie and Todd Chrisley‘s wire fraud scandal, Savannah Chrisley is crying tears of joy.

You have probably heard the shocking news by now. After buddying up to President Donald Trump throughout his campaign, the reality star finally secured a pardon for both her parents this week. That’s right. Despite multiple judges agreeing the couple deserved to be in prison for tax evasion and bank fraud, which saw them get locked up beginning in 2023, the Celebrity Apprentice alum is calling it all one big mistake and letting them out!

Savannah, who’s been working at this release ever since her parents were sent away, was a mess of emotions on Instagram on Tuesday night when the decision was made. In a new video, the 27-year-old revealed the conservative politician “just called me as I was walking into Sam’s Club” to tell her the good news:

“Both my parents are coming home. I could not be more grateful.”

In another upload, the podcast said her whole family was “freaking out over here” as they prepared to welcome their loved ones home:

“I have shed so many tears. The President called me personally as I was walking into Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So, both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow. I still don’t believe it’s real. I’m freaking out.”

Savannah noted she was “getting some clothes together” for her parents’ release and “getting their room put together upstairs.” She gushed:

“I’m just speechless. I just can’t thank you guys enough for sticking with my family and loving us and supporting us… It still doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t. I’m freaking out, so I’m going to go and prepare to pick up my parents. My parents get to start their lives over! […] It’s time to go get mom and dad.”

As crazy as this ruling might be, we can understand why Savannah is so relieved. She was just 25 when she was suddenly thrust into being the caretaker to her two young siblings, Grayson, 19, and Chloe, 12. It was a lot of responsibility on one young person, and it certainly weighed on Savannah over the years. No wonder she’s crying — she gets to go back to being a sibling and not a parent. That’s a huge deal for her!

Her 28-year-old brother Chase took to his Story to write, “Thank you Mr. President,” alongside a selfie with Grayson, both of ’em wearing a MAGA hat. He later shared a Bible version that read, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” He added his own cation, “God Family Faith Trump.” See even more:

Meanwhile, stepbrother Kyle Chrisley, who is currently estranged from his dad, is also pleased with the news. He told E! News:

“I’m ecstatic. Truly. I just found out a little bit ago and I still just can’t believe it.”

The 33-year-old, who Todd shares with ex Teresa Terry (along with Lindsie, 35), gave Savannah a big shoutout for getting this across the finish line, adding:

“I know Savannah had been working at this for so long and she never gave up. So I’m just grateful to her and to President Trump for making this happen for my dad and Julie.”

He’s even hoping this will be a completely fresh chapter for his family and lead to lots of healing, sharing:

“I know they can’t wait to get home and just be with family, and I’m going to remain hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.”

Last June, Kyle claimed his father had not returned any of his emails in over a year and that he was told he was not wanted and would be removed if he showed up to a hearing. He claimed at the time that he had no idea why he was being cut off, but Savannah told People her father had “every reason not to speak to Kyle,” arguing Todd didn’t need to “accept abuse,” “manipulation, and hate and all these things.” So, we’ll have to see what becomes of this relationship now that Todd’s no longer stuck behind bars.

Trump is expected to officially sign off on the pardon by the end of the day, a White House official told E!. Todd was intended to be in jail until April 7, 2032, and Julie until January 8, 2028. But thanks to a little buttering up to Donny, they’re walking out in 2025. Wild. Perfect timing for their just-announced new docuseries, huh?
