Scheana Shay kept even her closest friends in the dark about Brock Davies’ cheating scandal.
As fans continue to come to grips with the bombshell news that the Vanderpump Rules alum’s husband had a full blown affair while she was pregnant with his child, Brittany Cartwright is chiming in.
If you haven’t been following, Scheana revealed the news in her upcoming memoir My Good Side, claiming that Brock fessed up to cheating on her in 2021 when Scandoval took the internet by storm two years later. Scheana wrote in an excerpt obtained by Glamour:
“I remained in a state of paralyzed shock as he confessed that he’d cheated on me two years prior, when we were living in San Diego during the pandemic, while I was pregnant with Summer. I had spent so much time fighting off my anxiety and convincing myself that just because Tom [Sandoval] cheated on Ariana [Madix] didn’t mean Brock would ever cheat on me. Now, I was finding out just how wrong I was.”
So, so, SO awful. But she kept it all to herself!

During Saturday’s episode of her When Reality Hits podcast, Brittany shared her thoughts on the bombshell news, revealed NONE of Scheana’s friends knew:
“I hate that it’s going everywhere. I only found out about it a month or so ago. Even her friends didn’t know about it. I don’t know who it was that it was with.”
Wow… The Scheananigans podcast host explained earlier this month that she was hesitant to clue her friends and co-stars into her relationship drama during Scandoval because of the perception she makes everything about herself:
“I’ve thought, ‘If I tell people what I’m actually going through, then they’re gonna think I’m trying to take the attention off what someone else is going through.’ I think that perception of me [being self-involved] is what has held me back at times from opening up in the show or on the podcast.”
So sad that felt she couldn’t be vulnerable with her friends! But what’s clear is she has Brittany’s support now. The Valley star added on Saturday:
“I do know that if Scheana and Brock decided to make it through, then nobody should judge them for that.”
Our hearts hurt for Scheana. We hope Brock got some major counseling and that Scheana is slowly but surely moving on from such a traumatic betrayal!
