Alex Hall has a bone to pick with Tyler Stanaland.
As we’ve been following for years now, Brittany Snow made the decision to file for divorce from Tyler in January 2023 as his relationship with then-Selling the OC co-star Alex grew more… intimate. Fast forward a year and some change, Brittany appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she pretty much confirmed all the cheating rumors. Host Alex Cooper asked her at the time:
“Your ex-husband went on a reality show and there was a situation with another woman that just played out and you had no idea what was happening until it aired for the world.”

During season 2 of the Netflix series, Tyler and Alex Hall took their friendship to the next level and even shared an onscreen kiss. However, by season 3, the pair’s connection went by the wayside as Alex claimed Tyler “ghosted” her. Brittany said on the podcast:
“They took up a lot of energy and emotion and time and real estate in my head. I don’t wanna give them any more time and energy because then they would win and get what they wanted — which was getting my time and energy and attention.”
She added:
“I will say what people think happened, happened.”
However, shortly after, Alex slammed Brittany’s “calculated verbiage” on the podcast appearance, telling Entertainment Tonight:
“Her allegations and her calculated verbiage and approach to alluding to things that happened. Anything that was aimed at me is completely false and untrue. I think any viewer who watches the show can see that that’s untrue because you literally see mine and Tyler’s friendship progress, or not. And so people are gonna believe what they want to believe.”
What a clusterf**k, right?! Messy, messy, MESSY! And now, Alex is confronting Tyler about the whole disaster.
During the latest episode of Selling the OC’s fourth season, which was released on Wednesday, Alex and Tyler bump into each other at Gio Helou’s broker’s open — an awkward meeting as they hadn’t seen each other in a year and a half! However, Alex took the opportunity to address the “elephant in the room.” She told Tyler:
“It has to do with your wife going on a very, very, very public podcast and saying things that aren’t literal and they’re beating around the bush. And the reality is the whole speculation has been around you and I. And I truly believe that there’s a possibility that your ex-wife thought that I was the other woman in the equation.”
Hall noted “it’s a very small town” and heard through the grapevine that Tyler was seeing someone else around the same time she and him were developing their connection:
“I just don’t want to get blamed as being the other woman because your ex-wife thinks it was me and it wasn’t me, it was somebody else.”
In response, Tyler admitted that “before being legally divorced, I was dating other people.” And to that, Alex said:
“That’s what I’m saying. I took the f**king fall for that. You didn’t have the balls to defend me. I’ve defended you for years and had your back. I had deals over $50,000 worth of business canceled on me because of that. I have two kids to feed. This is my life, this is my livelihood. It would’ve meant a lot if you had stuck up for me.”
Yikes.
The 36-year-old responded by admitting he wishes he could “go back and do so much differently.” He added:
“What I can do is look you in the face and tell you I’m sorry. And I understand where you’re coming from.”
This situation just continues to get messier and more convoluted with every conversation, it seems!
