Senegal: Abass Fall elected mayor of Dakar elected, shifting the capital to PASTEF

After months of legal battles and political uncertainty, Dakar’s mayoral office is turning a new page. The Senegalese capital has shifted to the colors of PASTEF, the ruling party. In an extraordinary session, city councilors elected Abass Fall as the new mayor, succeeding Barthelemy Dias.
