In Senegal, electric vehicles are becoming a more familiar sight on the streets of Dakar. Predominantly imported from China, many of these electric cars are being integrated into the ride-hailing sector as part of the government’s wider efforts to promote cleaner transportation in the capital, which suffers from heavy pollution.
