South Sudan charges Vice President Riek Machar with murder and treason

South Sudan’s Vice President Riek Machar has been charged with murder, treason and crimes against humanity for a deadly attack on a military base in March. South Sudan’s government claims Machar ordered a militia known as the White Army to carry out the attack, in which more than 250 soldiers were killed.
