Squeeze have announced a UK arena tour for 2026, marking their biggest headline shows yet. Find all the details below.
The London band will hit the road for their ‘Tried, Tested And Trixies’ trek next winter, with Billy Bragg joining them as a special guest opener.
Kicking off in Glasgow on November 12, the forthcoming run of dates also includes stops in Blackpool, Nottingham, Newcastle, Stockton, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, ahead of a huge hometown gig at The O2 in London.
From there, Squeeze will head to Cardiff, Birmingham, Swansea, Plymouth and Bournemouth before finishing the tour with a performance in Brighton on December 5.
‘Tried, Tested And Trixies’ is billed as the group’s “most ambitious UK tour” to date, celebrating “53 years of classic songwriting”.

In a statement, frontman Glenn Tilbrook said: “The reaction to the 50th anniversary tour in 2024 was amazing. We have never sounded better, and it feels really special to be looking forward to playing the biggest headline shows of our career.
“And having Billy Bragg on the same bill, what’s not to love!”.
Chris Difford added: “It’s going to be amazing to show off songs from our album ‘Trixies’ and, of course, all the hits and some surprises. I’m also excited that Billy Bragg will be joining us for all the shows.”
Squeeze’s tour is once again supporting the anti-poverty charity Trussell, which provides emergency food and support to people who cannot afford the essentials, while campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
Fans are invited to bring along food donations to the shows, where collection points will be set up across the venue each night. There will also be collection buckets for any cash donations. All donations are to be distributed to people facing hardship across the 1,400 food bank centres in the Trussell network.
The band will be donating £1 from every ticket sale to support grassroots music venues, artists and promoters, too, with Tilbrook becoming a patron of the Music Venue Trust (MVT).
“The grassroots is where it all starts for so many musicians and where local communities can access affordable and exciting live music,” he explained. “We need to protect these venues and nurture the artists so that our great culture can thrive for generations to come.”
‘Trixies’ is set for release on March 6, 2026, marking Squeeze’s first studio album since 2017’s ‘The Knowledge’. However, the record is the first collection of songs the band ever wrote as teenagers, at the start of their songwriting partnership.
Squeeze rediscovered the original cassette 50 years on, and subsequently realised their original vision for ‘Trixies’.

Squeeze are set to support Madness on their 2025 ‘Hit Parade’ UK arena tour, which kicks off next month. Find any remaining tickets here.
Speaking to NME recently, Madness frontman Suggs discussed what fans could expect from the shows. “It’s sort of a cheesy ’60s pop show that you used to get – the set being a bit like that,” he said.
“And maybe having some sort of quiz ideas of particular songs, and getting the audience a bit involved. I don’t know how involved – ultimately, people want to see the songs and sing along. But we might have a bit more theatre to it.”
Meanwhile, former Squeeze drummer Gilson Lavis died earlier this month, aged 74.
