Mediterranean winds on Monday halted around 20 vessels carrying humanitarian aid and hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists in the Global Sumud Flotilla expedition heading to Gaza. The organisers said that they returned to the Spanish city of Barcelona due to unsafe weather conditions.
