Sudan war reaches two-year mark

Since the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces first attacked the Sudanese army on April 15, the Sudanese civil war has killed tens of thousands of people and displaced millions, while producing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. Two years into the civil war, several foreign nations have been suspected of arming the conflict, ceasefire talks have repeatedly stalled, and both warring parties have been accused of committing war crimes, with no pathway to peace in sight.
