Swiss glaciers have shrunk by a quarter since 2015, study says

Switzerland’s glaciers have lost 24 percent of their volume over the past decade, researchers said Wednesday, warning that accelerated melting in 2025 brought ice loss close to record levels. Scientists warn that Switzerland’s glaciers could nearly vanish by the end of this century without stronger actions to counter global warming.
