We’ve been so preoccupied with whatever mischief Orlando Bloom was going to get up to at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez‘s wedding, we had our eye on the wrong hottie who just got out of an engagement!
According to a source spilling to DailyMail.com on Friday, the celeb to watch was Sydney Sweeney! Those watching all the A-listers intermingle at the Venice festivities noticed the Anyone But You star was the belle of the ball:
“Sydney apparently is the most sought-after person to be around at the Bezos wedding. Everyone wants to talk to her and every guy that has been in her presence has talked about how stunning she is in real life.”
Ooh! What is it about Sydney? We mean, obvi she’s stunning, we all know this. But this is a party with ALL the Kardashians and Jenners, filmmakers, actresses, models, Hollywood powerhouses, everyone who’s anyone who isn’t Katy Perry. Why Sydney?

Well, aside from how good she looks in person, these celebs also were surprised how “fun” and “down to Earth” she is for such a big star:
“She seems to be someone who hasn’t been jaded by Hollywood yet. She is seen as very cool, and you can tell she’s got on people’s radars while out there.”
How great for her! And of course she’s pinging especially loudly for a lot of the hetero males:
“If she wants a new boyfriend, she can get it almost instantly.”
Yeah, we’ve been keenly aware of that one for a while! LOLz! But the most notable part of this is who shot their shot at the nuptials!
Another insider told TMZ that while all the celebs were hanging out at the world-famous Gritti Palace hotel, retired QB Tom Brady was the other center of attention. And these two poles were attracted like magnets apparently as Tom was spotted “chatting up” Sydney! With stars like Orlando and Leonardo DiCaprio as his wingmen, that’s a pretty formidable offense! Though the Immaculate actress really did have to beat off the suitors with a stick — even this source told the outlet they thought she was “f**king beautiful” in person! Ha!
No word on whether anything happened. We’re guessing no news is, well, no news. No one ever said what happens in Venice stays in Venice…
Ultimately the insider did corroborate an earlier report about Orly — that the male stars are more enjoying hanging with the boys than anything else. Sounds like Brady struck out to us! Sorry, we mean… his passes at Sydney were incomplete?
