Taylor Swift has announced a ‘Tiny Bubbles In Champagne’ vinyl edition of her upcoming new album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’.
The pop star is due to release her 12th studio album on October 3, following on from last year’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
Since announcing the record earlier this month, Swift has put numerous physical variants on pre-order via her website for a limited time. These include ‘The Shiny Bug’ and ‘Baby, That’s Show Business’ vinyl collections, as well as some deluxe CDs.
The latest version – titled ‘The Tiny Bubbles In Champagne Vinyl Collection’ – was launched last night (August 25), and was available “for 48 hours while supplies last”.
This edition was on offer on two different coloured vinyl: ‘Under Bright Lights Pearlescent’ and ‘Red Lipstick & Lace’. However, both are currently showing as “not available” on Swift’s website.
As with the previous versions, pre-orders for the latest vinyl drop went live after the time ran out on a cryptic online countdown that was launched hours prior.
Swift has surprised fans with the countdowns by breaking an expected sequence. The first countdown ran for five hours, while the second was up for four, and the third was up three. However, the most recent countdown for ‘Tiny Bubbles In Champagne’ lasted for three hours again, rather than decreasing to two, before she announced the collection.
Swift shared the news of her 12th album during her first-ever appearance on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
The album was co-produced by Max Martin and Shellback, alongside Swift herself. She has also shared the full tracklist, including a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track.
Speaking on New Heights, “Swift explained that there are “no other songs coming” beyond the standard tracklist: “With ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, I was like, ‘Here’s a data dump of everything I thought and felt in two or three years. Here’s 31 songs’. This is 12. There’s not a 13th, there’s not other ones coming.”
She called ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ “the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time”. Swift said that the forthcoming LP will focus on “what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life” during the record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’.
She described that time as “so exuberant and electric and vibrant”, adding: “It just comes from like the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life.” The star recorded the album in Sweden, in between shows on the huge tour.
Meanwhile, Zoë Kravitz has revealed that she has already listened to ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ in full, and said there are “no skips”. In other news, fans have been speculating that Swift could be headlining the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
