Taylor Swift has obtained a temporary restraining order against a stalker!
Per TMZ, the restraining order was granted on Monday after the pop star filed a request in court on Friday against a 45-year-old ex-convict named Brian Jason Wagner. In her filing, she alleged he’s been harassing her for years, starting when he was locked up. And things have taken an even creepier turn recently.
The Lover artist claimed Brian showed up at her LA home several back-to-back days in May. During the alleged visits, he asked to see her and told her security guards that he was a friend checking up on her, which she, of course, denied.

Her team then did some digging and ran a “criminal history report” on him. They learned he was previously imprisoned. She was then informed he had been sending her lengthy messages from jail! They were mostly made up stories about his involvement in her personal life, such as false claims that she’s the mother of his child!
He also allegedly used threatening language in his many communications and tried to divert mail from her home. Taylor said the man “even lied to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to somehow change the address on his driver’s license to my Los Angeles home.” Whoa! How??
The Grammy winner accused the stalker of showing up to her place at least three times back in July 2024, as well, and during one of the instances, he was allegedly carrying a glass bottle “that could have been used as a weapon.” She insists she’s never met or communicated with him and requested he be ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her, her home, her workplace, and her car.
We guess this was all pretty convincing for the court — because the request was granted.
Scary! We hope this TRO puts an end to this behavior!
