Even though Taylor Swift is a little biased toward Travis Kelce, the pop star’s favorite performance in Happy Gilmore 2 might just have been Bad Bunny‘s.

While conversing with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on the Wednesday (Aug. 13) episode of New Heights — on which she also revealed details about new album The Life of a Showgirl — Swift had nothing but high praise for Benito’s performance in the Adam Sandler-led film. “Bad Bunny? He absolutely delighted me in that movie,” the 14-time Grammy winner raved.
“His comedic timing is so good,” she continued before recapping one of her favorite scenes featuring Benito. “His character name is Oscar, and it’s like, his brother gets hit by the golf ball … There’s a face that Bad Bunny makes, and they do the kind of pan or zoom. I was like, ‘Who thought of that? How did they know he could be that way?’”
Revealing that she “watched it five times,” Swift added of the Puerto Rican superstar, “He’s so funny … I felt so much for his character.”
Her podcast appearance comes just a couple of weeks after the sequel to 1996’s Happy Gilmore arrived on Netflix, featuring Sandler, Julie Bowen and Ben Stiller reprising their roles from the original flick. It also featured a litany of new characters played by Bunny, Kelce, Eminem and more.
At the time of the premiere, Swift took to her Instagram Story to share her review of her boyfriend’s latest venture. “An absolute must watch,” she said of the film, which had her “cackling and cheering the whole movie!”
And while keeping her praise going on New Heights, the hitmaker also addressed speculation that she made a secret cameo in Happy Gilmore 2 by playing one anonymous character who appears in a bear suit. “I can deny!” she said on the show. “Like, I’m honored to be thought of in that context, because I loved that movie so much … Whoever did the bear’s acting was exquisite.”
