I didn’t love the original Pixel Watch when it came out way back in 2022, where it struck me as overpriced and underpowered. That’s a shame, because I adored its general look, which struck me as more natural than the square Apple Watch and even the similarly round (but a bit busy for my tastes) Galaxy Watch. Now, though, Google’s improved on its smartwatch with additional Fitbit integration, and crucially, thinner bezels. Starting at $250 for Prime Day, it’s a great deal.

The Pixel Watch 3 is currently on sale for Prime Day for $100 off, and the deal applies to both the 41mm and 45mm size options, as well as both wifi-only models and models with LTE connectivity. All color options are on sale, too, although the 45mm pink model seems to be sold out at time of writing.
There’s also an option to bundle a pair of Pixel Buds Pro 2 with your smartwatch, but how much you’ll save depends on your specific color option. Generally, though, the bundle as a whole is about $140 off its already discounted price, which isn’t bad given that the buds alone are selling for $160 right now. Unfortunately, though, it doesn’t seem like you get to pick a color for your buds when bundling.
In her review for the Pixel Watch 3, Lifehacker’s Beth Skwarecki appreciated that its screen is brighter than older Pixel watches, as well as its improved battery life. It also has new fitness tracking features, like the ability to track vertical oscillation while running, although she noted that more purpose-made devices from companies like Garmin could be better for the biggest fitness enthusiasts.
Still, at this price, the Pixel Watch 3 is a great pick, and for my money, it’s still the best looking smartwatch on the market—and it’s now more tantalizing with the functionality to match its looks.
