The Hives have unveiled some iconic new suits ahead of them kicking off their UK and European tour dates. Check out the photos below.
The new suits come in collaboration with the Tiger Of Sweden fashion brand, which worked closely with lead singer Pelle Almqvist. They made the designs based on the hand-drawn sketches from the frontman, which sparked the vision for a bold new stage wardrobe.
Tiger Of Sweden has been linked to the rock band for decades now, with the members wearing off-the-rack suits from the brand in the early ‘00s, and gradually making a creative partnership with them.
This blend of the band’s explosive live presence and the company’s tailoring has led to some dramatic custom-tailored suits engineered to withstand the demands of life on the road while amplifying The Hives’ iconic black-and-white visual identity.

For the latest design, a standout feature is the pagoda shoulder construction. This is a dramatic silhouette inspired by Pierre Cardin’s 1979 designs, which evokes the sharp, architectural forms of Chinese pagodas and is enhanced by Western-style piping.
They will be wearing the suits for their upcoming UK and European tour, which kicks off in Oslo on October 17, and continues with stops in Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Milan and Zurich throughout the month. Yard Act will support The Hives at the dates.
The tour continues in November and December, with more shows in Europe and four dates in the UK, including a gig at Alexandra Palace in London.
“It feels like a homecoming working with Tiger Of Sweden again,” the band said. “Since this album and tour is all about celebrating The Hives legacy and so much of that was dressed in Tiger it feels right.”

The tour comes in support of their seventh album ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’, which was released on August 29 via PIAS. It was the follow-up to 2023’s ‘The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons’, which was their first LP in 11 years, and the members announced it via a livestream from Mexico City – describing it as “a new record so full of energy, joy, anger and life that you will be questioning reality as you have known it”.
They then played some intimate warm-up gigs last month to celebrate the release.
Earlier this year, Almqvist spoke to NME about the album and said that he thinks it is his “favourite” Hives album yet as it sees them return “faster than expected and better than ever”.
“After 30 years of being a band, we’re at the peak of our powers. That doesn’t happen a lot. I’ve studied rock history and it’s super rare. Judge for yourselves, but I’m assuming you’re going to agree,” he said.
He also explained why ‘Enough Is Enough’ was chosen as the lead single, adding: “I think ‘Enough Is Enough’ got picked as a single really early when there were demos because our manager thought it would sell concert tickets.
“They wanted to release that first because it’s got a big riff and it’s a perfect tempo for a crowd to jump up and down. It got picked so early when the other songs weren’t done, but I really like how it starts: ‘Everyone’s a little fucking bitch…’ That’s as close to political commentary as you’re gonna get! Basically, ‘Fuck both sides.’
The Hives embarked on a UK and European tour last year in support of their ‘Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons’ album.
