Summer is over… or is it? You might be tempted to wish away the next few months, dreaming about My Chemical Romance’s long-awaited return to the UK or speculating about who could headline Reading and Leeds 2026, but there’s still a whole month of brilliant live music happening around the country to keep you busy.

From Lady Gaga’s surprise ‘MAYHEM BALL’ tour to Lewis Capaldi’s triumphant arena headline run by way of Kneecap’s massive gig at Wembley Arena, there are plenty of reasons to get out of the house this September.

To make sure you don’t miss out, we’ve rounded up the very best gigs that are taking place over the coming weeks.

Sites such as viagogo allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Lady Gaga

Mother Monster wasn’t going to tour ‘Mayhem’ originally but after having such a blast headlining Coachella 2025 and playing a couple of gigantic shows in South America, Gaga confirmed plans for a last-minute arena run. Based on what we’ve seen so far, these gigs are set to be more theatrical and over-the-top than anything she’s done before.

Lewis Capaldi

Earlier this summer, Lewis Capaldi returned to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage to finish the set he started back in 2023. Since then, we’ve had gorgeous, heartbreaking new single ‘Survive’ and now, a full-blown arena jaunt. It’s going to be an emotional one.

Kneecap

The immovable force that is Kneecap have had an intense summer. The trio have been banned from a number of festivals after footage of them onstage at Coachella saying Israel is committing a “genocide” in Gaza went viral. They’ve also had to cancel a US headline run due to Mo Chara’s terrorism case being adjourned. This massive, one-off gig at London’s Wembley Arena is definitely going ahead though and is going to be one hell of a defiant celebration.

Kneecap play:

SEPTEMBER
18 – Wembley

Post Malone

Post Malone is bringing his ‘Big Ass’ world tour to London this month, in support of his country-inspired sixth album ‘F-1 Trillion’. As well as those new barnyard bangers, Posty will be packing his setlist with rock & roll ragers and smirking rap anthems. If that wasn’t enough, Jelly Roll’s tagging along for the ride as main support.

Post Malone plays:

SEPTEMBER

7 –Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
8 –Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

FLO

FLO’s debut album ‘Access All Areas’ was released last November but their UK headline trek was delayed after Renée Downer sustained an injury during rehearsals. At the time, FLO said that they were unable to deliver “the show we want” and “a tour that you deserve”. That’ll change this month when the girls bring their slick, polished performance to venues around the country.

FLO play:

29 – SWG3 Galvanizers, Glasgow

OCTOBER
1 – Academy, Manchester
2 – O2 Academy, Birmingham

Self Esteem

Self Esteem launched their third album ‘A Complicated Woman’ with a West End show and if her incredible, joyful performance at Glastonbury 2025 is anything to go by, this upcoming headline looks set to be just as dramatic. These may be the biggest venues Self Esteem has ever headlined, but she’s got an arsenal of cathartic indie-pop tunes that are more than capable of dominating these spaces.

Blusher

Aussie dance-pop trio Blusher are celebrating the launch of their “turbocharged” second EP ‘Racer’ with some UK headline gigs. The record is an ode to friendship, dancefloor bangers and hedonistic escapism, which sounds like the perfect cure to those end of summer blues.

Blusher play:

SEPTEMBER
8 – Camden Assembly, London
11 – Yes Pink Room, Manchester
12 – SWG3 Poetry Club, Glasgow

Black Country, New Road

It’s been a turbulent few years for Black Country, New Road. Lead vocalist Isaac Wood left the band four days before the release of 2023’s critically-acclaimed second album ‘Ants From Up There’ and the remaining members quickly retreated to the studio. This year’s ‘Forever Howlong’ was a confident return from the cult favourites and later this month, they take those oddball anthems on the road.

Black Country, New Road play:

SEPTEMBER
11 – Rock City, Nottingham
12 – Albert Hall, Manchester
13 – Albert Hall, Manchester

20 – The Glasshouse, Gateshead
22 – Beacon, Bristol
23 – Tramshed, Cardiff

Pierce The Veil

The pop-punk resurgence might be losing steam but Pierce The Veil have never been bigger. To really prove themselves as kings of the next generation, the group are heading out on their first ever UK arena adventure. Their ‘I Can’t Hear You’ tour setlist will include  songs from every single record they’ve released so far but with fifth album ‘Jaws Of Life’ coming back in 2023, could we also get to hear new material?

Gorillaz

To celebrate 25 years since their debut ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’ EP was released, everyone’s favourite virtual band are taking over London’s Copper Box for their House Of Kong exhibition. Described as an “experience for the brave and bold”, the limited-time event is something Gorillaz fans won’t want to miss. There’s also the small matter of four unique gigs at the east London venue. The first three shows will see the band perform an album in full, while the fourth is a “mystery” billing.

Gorillaz play:

AUGUST
29 – Copper Box Arena, London (‘Gorillaz’)
30 – Copper Box Arena, London (‘Demon Days’)

SEPTEMBER
2 – Copper Box Arena, London (‘Plastic Beach’)
3 – Copper Box Arena, London (Mystery show)

Coldplay

Coldplay are returning to the UK this month with their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour. After taking over London’s Wembley Stadium for six nights back in 2022, they’re set to play a further 10 shows at the iconic venue following a pair of warm-up gigs at Hull’s Craven Park Stadium. Expect pop bangers, light-up bracelets and a whole lot of sincerity. Maybe avoid the kiss-cam if you’re attending with someone you shouldn’t be though…

Coldplay play:

SEPTEMBER
3 – Wembley Stadium, London
4 – Wembley Stadium, London
6 – Wembley Stadium, London
12 – Wembley Stadium, London
