New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
AirPods are great, but they do have a few flaws. They’re not optimized for non-Apple products, they lack color options, and they can be a bit pricey—at least, outside of Prime Day. While AirPods are popular, they’re far from the only option if you’re looking for a new pair of wireless earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Bluetooth Earbuds are one such option, and they’re down to their lowest ever price during Prime Day. You can buy a pair for $129, which is 28% off the list price of $179.
The QuietComfort earbuds are not to be confused with Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra earbuds. The Ultra buds are indeed better, but they’re also much more expensive at $299. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds hold their own at the $129 price point, and they even earned a solid 4/5 star rating in a review by PCMag. PCMag praised the QuietComfort earbuds for sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life, and the fact that you can have two simultaneous connections at once. The review did describe the earpieces as “bulky,” a main point of contention, so that’s something you should keep in mind before buying this product.
These earbuds have a companion app, which lets you customize your audio experience via an equalizer. The app also lets you adjust the earbuds’ touch controls to your liking. Overall, the QuietComfort Earbuds are a great alternative to non-Pro AirPods for most people. If you want the best audio and noise cancellation experience possible, you can consider upgrading to the Ultra earbuds. But at $299, it’s quite the jump.
