Thousands of Israeli academics sign petition to urge safe return of hostages

More than 6,500 Israeli academics and teachers, along with students’ parents, signed a petition on Monday evening demanding that the Israeli government ensure the return of hostages in Gaza, even at the cost of ending the fighting.
