A teen social media personality is dead — killed by a man she rejected.
According to CBS News, 17-year-old Sana Yousaf was shot and killed at her home in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Monday night. Police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of her murder.

Law enforcement claimed the suspect repeatedly contacted the teenager online and spent hours loitering outside her house. She apparently asked him to stop, but he couldn’t take no for an answer. When Sana turned him down again this week, he allegedly shot her to death. CBS News reported Islamabad police chief Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said in a news conference:
“It was a case of repeated rejections. The boy was trying to reach out to her time and again. It was a gruesome and cold-blooded murder.”
Awful…
For those who don’t know, Sana was an influencer who created fashion, skincare, and lip-sync videos on TikTok for her over 800,000 followers. She also boasted over 614,000 followers on Instagram. Last week, the teen celebrated her 17th birthday. And just hours before her death, she posted her last video to social media… a clip of her cutting the cake on her special day.
Just heartbreaking. So unimaginably young.
Our hearts go out to her family after this tragedy. Rest in peace, Sana.
