Tom Cruise never misses his movie daughter’s birthday — even two decades later. Aww!
In the new episode of Watch What Happens Live, Dakota Fanning revealed to host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Brittany Snow that the Top Gun star still sends her birthday gifts. Twenty whole years after they worked together in 2005’s War of the Worlds!
When Andy asked about a story he’d heard, if Tom still sends her the same gift for her birthday — shoes! And she answered:
“Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Really nice shoes, yes.”

Brittany asked her to clarify “what kind of shoes” — and admitted she’s intrigued and has “so many questions”! Dakota said:
“It’s really as simple as that. He’s just always given me shoes.”
The Pitch Perfect star then asked:
“But are they nice shoes, are they sneakers? Or are they like…?”
And the Twilight alum — who is now 31 years old and was just 11 when they acted together — explained he’s made sure to change it up over the years:
“They’re nice shoes … [My shoe size] has changed over the years and he’s adapted. He’s adapted.”
So sweet that Dakota and Tom have maintained such a great fake father-daughter bond over the years. It’s nice to see they’re still going strong! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
