Travis Kelce is getting candid about the challenges of dating Taylor Swift! Not anything about her, obvi, he loooooves her! But it did mean a new level of fame!
On Tuesday’s episode of the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reflected on how much his life has changed since he began dating the pop star. Obviously the NFL all-star was famous before — but nowhere near that level. When asked if there’s anything he might have “miscalculated” or not realized would be such an issue now that he’s an “A-lister,” Trav revealed the most shocking thing has been… the paparazzi. He explained:
“That’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it. That’s probably the craziest thing.”

And he’s not talking about stepping out for NYC date nights with his girlfriend and getting mobbed by cameras — though that has to be frustrating! No, he’s talking about how the paps are impacting more mundane areas of his life, the NFL pro dished:
“Like, I’m just playing golf and all of the sudden in the trees there’s just a f**king guy with a camera. Like, ah s**t. I gotta go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss.”
Ha! While he’s “never been ashamed of slamming beers” on the course, he’s gotta be extra cautious when he has to take a leak because of the paps, he joked:
“Just don’t want my meat on Page Six, know what I mean?”
LMFAO!
We love that the first example he came up with was his freedom to pee outside being taken away. Classic Trav.
With that much attention, you’d think people would realize he and Tay would like a break! But no, there’s constant speculation that he and the So High School singer intentionally step out in public to get attention. The New Heights podcaster hit back, insisting:
“It gets thrown out there as it’s like we’re trying to seek attention, every now and then. But it’s like, we’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games. Kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world.”
He added:
“We’re having fun with it, being a couple.”
As they should be! Haters gonna hate! But we love seeing Tay Tay get to live her best life with her beau as publicly as she wants! After having such a secretive romance in the past, it’s refreshing! Good to hear Travis is handling the brighter spotlight like a champ!
