Travis Kelce has a few regrets… But none bigger than doing reality TV!
The professional athlete appeared on Tuesday’s episode of the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, where he reflected on starring in 2016’s reality dating competition Catching Kelce:
“The worst thing I ever did was the dating show. Catching Kelce was the f**king worst thing I ever did. It didn’t set me up for anything, I didn’t realize what reality TV really was … I don’t even think anybody watched it.”

If you never tuned into the show, it saw 50 women from all 50 US states competing for Travis’ attention. He continued:
“I was just 50 women, 50 states … I was like, ‘Yeah I’m having fun, I’m having fun, I’m having fun,’ and then I was like, ‘Oh s**t everybody is going to be able to see this forever. Like, God damnit.’”
According to him, some of the people who gave him the MOST flack for it were his own Kansas City Chiefs teammates. The now-35-year-old dished that after Catching Kelce began airing, his fellow footballers couldn’t help themselves from a bit of friendly roasting:
“I mean, I was getting smoked all season for that. It’s fun, though. It’s locker room banter, it’s all fun.”

The tight end went on to admit he realized “about halfway through” filming that he would NEVER do the show again. In fact, he already had his reservations before he agreed to the gig… Because according to him, he “said no to it about five times” before finally agreeing to move forward with the dating competition.
