Travis Kelce‘s ex has a surprising viewpoint on his relationship with Taylor Swift!
Kayla Nicole has been popping up in headlines ever since her ex boyfriend started dating the pop star. She’s made comments in the past, even going as far as to break down crying on television over how much the split hurt her — as well as how much hate she’s received from Swifties. With all of this in mind, it would probably be expected she’d have a bit of a negative outlook on Tayvis, right?
Wrong!
While talking to a fan on the latest episode of her Pre-Game podcast, the sports journalist seems to have a pretty decent opinion of Tay Tay — at least if you read between the lines. One of her listeners asked for advice on getting over an ex when his new girl is so “hot”. Kayla’s response was:
“I think as women, something we struggle with is admitting that the new girl might be popping, might be s**t, might be really hot and there’s no problem in admitting that. If you’re gonna lose, I want to lose to the best team now. I want you to move on and go do your big one. Make me look good. Right?”

And obviously you’d imagine she’s talking from personal experience — seeing as how her ex’s next was one of the most famous and beloved women on the planet!

The broadcaster continued:
“It’s so much worse if the guy that you loved and you dated for so long and you’re so heartbroken over goes and dates a dud. Now you look stupid, he looks stupid, we all look stupid [and] everyone’s questioning your taste. Like, ‘What the f**k are you doing?”
The 33-year-old gave “kudos” to the listener for “acknowledging [the other woman] is hot”. What a cool new perspective!
To hear her say it’s a compliment when your ex gets with a hot, successful new girl says a lot. We mean, you can’t get much more successful than Taylor Swift these days, so if Kayla is really fpollowing her own advice, she must be feeling pretty darn complimented. Despite all her other grievances with the relationship, no one can argue Trav continues to prove he has great taste. And that’s gotta feel good.
