As top US and Qatari officials joined a third day of talks aimed at brokering peace in Gaza, news outlet Politico has confirmed the White House wrote Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent apology to Qatar over Israel’s strikes in the country and that a senior Qatari envoy was present in the Oval Office to ensure Netanyahu followed the prepared script.
