European allies of Ukraine held a joint call to discuss the conditions of an eventual ceasefire in Ukraine ahead of US President Donald Trump’s upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky told Trump he would not accept territory “swaps” with Russia, which Trump suggested would be necessary to achieve a truce, and insisted Putin was “bluffing” to put pressure on Kyiv and its allies, while Zelensky’s European allies asserted that Ukraine must be involved in any ceasefire negotiations.
