US President Donald Trump on Thursday urged his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to stop buying Russian oil over the war in Ukraine as the two leaders met at the White House. Trump signalled willingness to revive Turkey’s suspended F-35 deal and lift sanctions linked to Ankara’s purchase of Russian missile systems.
