Bringing manufacturing back to the USA – it’s an ideological cornerstone of Donald Trump’s economic policy… One aimed not just at bringing foreign firms to invest in America, but at forcing US companies to onshore their own production lines. Squarely in the firing line is one of the country’s largest tech giants, Apple – whose top-selling product, the iPhone, is made in Asia.
