Ukraine says it destroyed more than 40 Russian bomber planes deep inside territory

A Ukrainian security official on Sunday said that Kyiv destroyed more than 40 Russian aircraft in a drone attack that struck an airbase thousands of kilometres from the front lines. Russia uses the strategic bomber planes to fire long-range missiles at Ukraine.
