France 24 correspondent Jessica Le Masurier reports from the United Nations headquarters in New York after the UN rejected an Israeli proposal to end its two-month blockade of humanitarian aid into Gaza, which would effectively privatize aid distribution to the enclave. The UN said the US-backed plan, which would see private security contractors take over aid distribution operations in Gaza from the UN, weaponizes aid, forcing Palestinians to evacuate northern Gaza, where Israel plans to intensify its military operations, in order to get access to food.
