US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced today that four alleged drug-trafficking vessels had been struck by the US military in the East Pacific. It’s yet another deadly strike in US President Donald Trump’s controversial anti-drug campaign, as Washington has yet to make public any evidence that its targets were smuggling narcotics or posed a threat to the United States.
