The United States on Monday announced a “framework” deal with China to resolve a longstanding dispute over TikTok that would transfer the Chinese-owned app to US-controlled ownership. US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping are expected to confirm the deal in a call on Friday.
