Venezuelan military planes buzzed US ship in ‘highly provocative move’, Pentagon says

Two Venezuelan military aircraft flew near a US Navy vessel in international waters, the Pentagon disclosed Thursday, in what it called a “highly provocative” escalation. The incident came days after US strikes on a Venezuelan boat in the the Caribbean killed 11 people. President Donald Trump said the Venezuelan vessel belonged to a drug cartel.
